Sustainability

  • LEED Gold-certified construction
  • All wood used for the hotel came from fallen trees on the 300 acre property
  • 99% of both Jade and Anse's staff of 600+ individuals are locals, many of whom have worked for Jade Mountain or Anse Chastanet for 10+ years
  • All water used on-site (both Jade and Anse) uses rainwater collected, stored, and filtered in a historic reservoir on the property
  • Plant-based dishes are available at every restaurant on-site, and if you don't see what you'd like, just ask the chef!

The Going Green Media website was built with a low-carbon approach to design and development. We follow procedures to ensure that our digital footprint is minimal, and our mission for a greener future can be supported by the end user (that's you!).

This commitment starts with our minimal-load design. We optimise every element, compress every image, and use efficient styling and classes to minimise our code output. This planet-first approach decreases our digital footprint while creating a smoother user experience through less unnecessary data and faster load times.
