Sustainability

  • Each individual cabin has solar panels on the roof to power the lights and heat showers
  • A strict no-single-use-plastic policy is in place for both staff and guests
  • A fully vegetarian and vegan menu is available for guests, and many herbs and vegetables are grown on-site in greenhouses and in the kitchen garden
  • All artwork around the hotel comes from a local, non-profit women's cooperative
  • The hotel only employs native Costa Ricans, supporting local communities and families

The Going Green Media website was built with a low-carbon approach to design and development. We follow procedures to ensure that our digital footprint is minimal, and our mission for a greener future can be supported by the end user (that's you!).

This planet-first approach decreases our digital footprint while creating a smoother user experience through less unnecessary data and faster load times.
