Sustainability

  • Decor throughout the hotel is toxin-free, with paints in particular being chosen by local artists for their natural pigments; all hotel linens are woven, refined, and dyed in France.
  • No small lamps or appliances are in the individual rooms, motion-sensor lights are installed throughout the corridors, and guests must call reception for changes in their room temperature to ensure that no energy is wasted in empty rooms.
  • HoY's restaurant, Mesa, is entirely plant-based and offers unique dishes that change seasonally
  • Water carafes with are supplied in each room, filtered with Japanese binchotan charcoal, helping guests forego plastic bottles
