  • All ingredients for food, supplies for the hotel, and services needed are sourced within 150 km of the hotel, with a large portion of that coming directly from local Zermatt businesses
  • 99% of the hotel's energy comes from geothermal sources and a heat recovery system; the remaining 1% is powered by natural gas, with plans to shift this to biogas in the near future
  • Maintaining as much of the native, primary forest surrounding the hotel is essential to protect pollinators and ensure local wildlife can maintain their habitats
  • A good portion of the menus at the hotel's three restaurants are plant-based or vegetarian
  • Support local youth sports organisations to encourage young people to get outside
